Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, December 11, 2009 – BRP-Powertrain celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals together with Ghibli Raceway on its awesome desert track in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
For this special jubilee event the Dutch racing company Van Amersfoort Racing donates a special prize: The winner of the 125 MAX (Seniors) category wins a test with Van Amersfoort Racing in a Formula Renault 2.0 at an European circuit in 2010.
Since 2000 BRP-Powertrain has annually organized the Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) Grand Finals on fascinating raceways all over the world. During that time, the RMC has become the worlds’ leading kart racing series. This year BRP-Powertrain celebrates the 10th anniversary of the MAX Challenge. From December 9 to December 12, 216 drivers from all over the world come to Egypt to take part into the biggest kart series in the world. All drivers striving together for just one goal: Winning the prestigious title “Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2009 Champion. The drivers start in 3 categories: 125 Junior MAX, 125 MAX (Seniors) and 125 MAX DD2. For the 10th anniversary the Dutch racing company Van Amerfoort Racing donates a special prize for the winner of the 125 MAX category.
