The second day of Ghibli Speed Challenge (GSC) started with the briefing by Rami Refaat, Championship Coordinator; Amer McGyver, the general referee of the race; and Magdy Bekier, ATCE FIA representative.

The new course has been settled for drivers to race on Ghibli Raceway track, which occurred to be shorter than the previous one in order to allow smaller cars and smaller engines improving their performance on the track.

EVO attacks continued in this race starting with Tamer Bashat on the first position with his best lap time of 42:562 followed by the “black horse” of this event Ayman Marzouk with the lap time of 43:568 and the famous driver Rami Serry on the third position with his famous car Lancer Evolution 8, which have been tuned with over 400 horse power engine.

According to the championship regulations, top twenty drivers will participate in the final race of GSC while others will be excluded from the race. Some of the drivers showed very good driving style, especially in rear wheels drive category like Gamal El Werdeny with his car BMW 325I # 28 and Ahmed Kamal with his classic car Fiat 124 Sport # 37. Mohamed Zaki also presented a very good driving style at the track with his Mitsubishi # 21.

In the last race of the second day of GSC new course has been settled at Ghibli Raceway track to be anti-clock wise, which started with drama action when Mohamed Refaey lost his right front wheel since he did not put the right screw nails. After this accident he was in need for emergent technical support from the specialized group ATEC, who was responsible for technical supervision of all the participating cars. The race has been ended with the power and wildness of EVOs as Tamer Bashat came first with the surprising time of 59:450 and concluded final time for the three races to be 3:07:282. Ayman Marzouk came second with the total time of 3:12:276. The third position has been occupied by Rami Serry whose best total time was 3:13:314. Daniel Hanna successfully achieved the fourth position with the time of 3:14:558. Finally, the fifth position was kept by Medhat Ramadan with his famous Colt Evo showing time of 3:17:591.

At the end of the event, all the drivers and audience enjoyed the prize giving ceremony, which introduced the prizes to winners by Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud, Chairman of ATEC; Eng. Ahmed Hashem, Chairman of Hashem Bus; Ahmed Ali, General Organizer of the championship; Amer McGyver, General Referee and shared organizer of the event; Rami Refaat, Championship Coordinator; and finally, Gehad Samy, Commercial Manager of Ghibli Raceway.
